TRANS> arts.cultures.media

TRANS> arts.cultures.media was the print journal of Sandra Antelo-Suarez’s non-profit organization TRANS>, which she founded in 1995. It ran for 11 editions under Antelo-Suárez’s editorial direction and served as an interdisciplinary and multilanguage publication with a focus on the cultural contextualization of American cultures. TRANS> arts.cultures.media published seminal essays by Ernesto Laclau, Judith Butler, Juan Goytisolo, and Sylvère Lotringer; and discussions on art accompanied by published artwork, such as the TRANS> gum edition by Paul McCarthy, which served as the cover of TRANS> arts.cultures.media no. 8, 2000.
