May 2–4, 2025
Gallery Weekend Berlin returns for its 21st edition from May 2–4, 2025 and will once again showcase the quality and diversity of the city’s art scene. With 51 participating galleries presenting over 80 artistic positions across 59 locations, this year’s program will feature artists from more than 20 countries.
Building on two decades of success, Gallery Weekend Berlin will continue to offer a comprehensive overview of the multifaceted landscape of contemporary art. This year’s edition will feature exhibitions by internationally renowned artists such as Anne Imhof (Galerie Buchholz), Monica Bonvicini (Capitain Petzel), Sylvie Fleury (Mehdi Chouraki), Thomas Struth (Galerie Max Hetzler), Marianna Simnett (Société), and Cyprien Gaillard (Sprüth Magers). Alongside these established names, there are also exciting new discoveries on display, among them Roméo Mivekannin (Galerie Barbara Thumm) or Klaudia Schifferle (Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler). Berlin’s younger galleries will present intriguing works with Diane Severin Nguyen (Galerie Molitor), Benjamin Lallier (Heidi), Megan Plunkett (Sweetwater), Sebastian Jefford (Galerie Noah Klink), and Phung-Tien Phan (Schiefe Zähne), once again reaffirming their strong position on the Berlin art scene.
For the first time NOME, located on Potsdamer Straße, will join Gallery Weekend Berlin and will be showcasing the work of Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley. Pace and Galerie Judin will present a group exhibition in a new exhibition space housed in a mid-century gas station. Meanwhile, Nagel Draxler will feature an exhibition with activist and artist Nadya Tolokonnikova of Pussy Riot.
