Try out the direct application process for the degree programs of FINE ARTS and ART MEDIATION together with other potential students and gain practical artistic experience at the Braunschweig University of Art.
On the 23rd and 24th of January 2012, potential students of the fine arts or art mediation are invited to work for two days with diverse materials and media in the studios and workshops at the Braunschweig University of Art. You’ll profit from the direct contact with our teachers, who themselves are practising artists and receive a personal view into the requirements and possibilities offered in the art degree programs at Braunschweig.
Jump Starters, for the upcoming semester 2012/ 13, have the opportunity to apply without handing in a portfolio and be invited to the entrance exam as well as the possibility of being directly accepted into the study program.* The participants of Jump Start Art are excepted to be engaged and intensively work in an artistic manner. The number of participants is limited to 150 between the ages of 17 and 30.**

On January 24, 2012, the Braunschweig University of Art will be hosting a public information day. Information will be provided for all programmes of study at the Braunschweig University of Art.
*Admission is not transferable to any other degree programme at the HBK/ Braunschweig University of Art and is non-transferable to any other application process. Admission is only valid for the fall semester 2012.
**A participation fee of 25 Euros is required and must be paid in full at the time of registration. If requested, sleeping accommodations are available at the homes of students.
Students of the Braunschweig University of Art are excluded from participation in Jump Start Art.
