The Istituto Italiano di Cultura (IIC) in Singapore was a key institution dedicated to promoting Italian language and culture in the region. Established in 1989, the IIC served as a cultural bridge between Italy and Singapore, offering a wide range of programs including Italian language courses, cultural events, and initiatives across music, visual arts, literature, and the performing arts. In 2020, the IIC closed its doors, and the Embassy of Italy in Singapore has since taken on the responsibility of continuing the promotion of Italian culture in the region.
