The Anderson Collection at Stanford University is a place of creative engagement and interactive learning that explores the connections between art and life. The museum preserves, presents, and interprets one of the most significant university collections of modern and contemporary American art, originally a private assembly by the Bay Area-based Anderson family. Since its opening in 2014, the Anderson Collection has become a cornerstone of the Stanford arts district and home to thousands of students, faculty, staff, and community members who find inspiration and respite in its galleries.
