Conner Contemporary Art enthusiastically anticipates exhibiting at Pulse Miami 2007.
We will present new works by the following gallery artists:
LEO VILLAREAL — color LED sculpture based on his current installation on the façade of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Brooklyn, NY.
ERIK SANDBERG — monumental, figurative oil paintings from his compelling series Seven Deadly Sins
MARK BENNETT — drawings based on movie homes in John Water’s films (Hairspray, Pink Flamingos….)
ZOE CHARLTON — large-scale figurative drawings from the Undercover (KKK) series
MARIA FRIBERG — premier of new video commoncause
JEREMY KOST — introducing original 4 x 4 Polaroid images from Fame.
Recent sculpture from the Cyclepup series by Patricia Piccinini, video/performance documentation from Aversion by Mary Coble and video by Sarah Beddington will also be on view as well as a special section devoted to emerging artists Adam de Boer, Geoffrey Aldridge and Nathaniel Rogers from our *gogo art projects roster.
We are also pleased to announce that videos by Conner Contemporary artist Brandon Morse and *gogo artist Isaac Maiselman have been selected by Pulse Fair curators for rotation in the VIP video lounge.
