Counter Editions are pleased to announce a series of limited edition prints of the official London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games posters.

Since 1912 each Olympic host city has commissioned one or more posters to celebrate the hosting of the Games. Since the first Paralympic Games in 1948 posters have also been commissioned for the Paralympic Games.

The artists chosen to create the London 2012 posters are Fiona Banner, Michael Craig-Martin, Martin Creed, Tracey Emin, Anthea Hamilton, Howard Hodgkin, Gary Hume, Sarah Morris, Chris Ofili, Bridget Riley, Bob and Roberta Smith, and Rachel Whiteread.

The editions are exclusively published by Counter Editions and available from 4 November 2011.

Founded in 2000 Counter Editions commissions and produces prints and multiples by leading contemporary artists including John Baldessari, Rebecca Warren, Peter Doig, Roni Horn, Christopher Wool, and Michael Craig-Martin.
