Master of Design (MDes)
The Master of Design (MDes)is a two-year, full-time, research-oriented, interdisciplinary degree for creative professionals at the forefront of design.

As an MDes student you will have the opportunity to develop your research within a range of established and emerging design fields including:

The Master of Design degree prepares graduates to take leadership roles in established professions, or to initiate new ones. As a graduate, you will be poised to lead and inspire new design practice as an innovative and transformative professional.

Master of Applied Arts (MAA)
The Master of Applied Arts (MAA) supports rigorous practice-based creative research in a program that combines instruction from expert faculty with independent supervised thesis research.

The MAA experience prepares students to become professional artists who take risks, think unconventionally, foster change and contribute to an international field. This two-year, full-time program draws on a rich speaker series, including dedicated individual studio critiques with renowned visiting artists.

A defining component of the program is the summer internship/independent study period; this applied learning experience is developed in consultation with faculty and designed to develop professional momentum for students during their course of study.
