Alessandro Petti is a professor of Architecture and Social Justice at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm, where in 2017 he established DAAS, the Decolonizing Architecture Advanced Studies program, a series of postmaster courses, public seminars, field studies, publications, and discursive exhibitions. He is the co-director together with Sandi Hilal of DAAR—Decolonizing Architecture Art Research—an architectural studio and residency program centered around the relation of politics and architecture. Recent publications Refugee Heritage (Art and Theory, Stockholm, 2021), Permanent Temporariness (Art and Theory, Stockholm, 2019), and Architecture after Revolution (Sternberg, Berlin, 2013). He initiated Campus in Camps in 2012, a university in Dheisheh refugee camp in Palestine.
