Stefanos Tsivopoulos is an interdisciplinary artist, filmmaker, educator, and organizer who has exhibited extensively in art institutions and film festivals worldwide, including the biennials of Athens, Beijing, Budapest, Limerick, Manifesta, Moscow, Thessaloniki, Xinjiang, the 4th Riga Quadrennial, and the quinquennial Documenta 14, in Kassel. Recent shows include MAXXI Museum, Rome; Bellas Artes Projects, Manila; MuCEM, Marseille; Tate Modern, London; MACBA, Barcelona; M KHA, Antwerp; BAK — basis voor actuele kunst, Utrecht; Kunsthaus Zurich; Bundeskunsthalle, Bonn; and Kunstinstituut Melly (fka wdw), Rotterdam. He represented Greece in the 55th Venice Biennale. Tsivopoulos is the initiator/codirector of Artists for Artists and teaches at Parsons School of Design at The New School, New York.
