Michelle Grabner is an artist and writer who lives in Chicago. She is a professor and department chair of the Painting and Drawing Department at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Along with her husband Brad Killam, Grabner runs The Suburban and the Poor Farm, artist project spaces in the American heartland.
