Li Yizhuo Read Bio Collapse
Li Yizhuo is a PhD candidate at the University of Vienna, researching and teaching artistic experimentation and art archives in contemporary China. Li’s academic and critical writing has appeared in PARSE, Nonument, Mousse, and Kaltblut, and she has lectured at Barnard College, Columbia University. Her curatorial projects include the ecological cooperative agriculture in Vienna and 2020 research-based shortlist exhibition “Viral Transmission” at OCAT Institute Beijing. She has directed research and programs at FRESCO Collective, an art nonprofit in New York, and completed residencies at Institute for Electronic Arts at Alfred University and Al Balad. Li holds an MA from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University and BA and BS degrees from Tsinghua University.
