Kate Steinmann is a writer, editor, and art historian who works in publishing. She is Senior Editor at Yishu, a Vancouver-based journal of contemporary Chinese art. From 2008 to 2015, she was an editor at Fillip, a magazine of contemporary art, and from 2011 to 2015, she was Director of Publications at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. She has a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of British Columbia and a B.A. from the University of Toronto.
