Ji Hye Yeom Read Bio Collapse
Instead of recognizing a set of circumstances that we are facing as an individual event, Ji Hye Yeom attempts to find forces operating on the other side. In other words, rather than looking at the surface, Yeom imagines the invisible force which originated the happenings in the present. Yeom utilizes science, history, philosophy, religion, oral tradition, faith, etc. as tools of imagination and research. Through exploration of new connecting links created in the point where the boundaries of past and the present, experience and memory, an image and a dream, or a legend and a narrative blend and blur, Yeom proposes an alternative perspective on the world and new methods of speech.
