BAU Arts and Design College of Barcelona

BAU Arts and Design College of Barcelona, founded in 1989, is an institution affiliated to the University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia that offers the bachelor’s degree in Design and the bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts; master’s degree; PhD programs in Design and Communication, in addition to the summer university and other online courses within the RMIT University. Our mission: to train new generations of creative professionals able to understand, transform, and improve the world in a conscient way.

BAU is a pioneering center in teaching arts and design degrees within the European Higher Education Area. The college has a large teaching staff made up of doctors, graduates and specialized professionals from different fields of culture, art and design. The BAU campus, with more than 10,000 square meters, is distributed in three buildings in Poblenou adapted for training, creation and experimentation in the fields of Arts and Design. Moreover, BAU has a consolidated R&D group with lines of research based on Design for Social Transformation (GREDITS).
