Once a school of art and architecture, but now dedicated to the visual arts, the Roski School grants Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees at the undergraduate level and Master of Arts (MA), Master of Fine Arts (MFA), and Master of Public Art Studies (MPAS) degrees at the graduate level. The Roski School’s faculty is a diverse group of internationally recognized artists and educators. Every semester, the school welcomes a wide range of visiting artists, writers, critics, curators, and art historians, who give lectures, present their work, and engage with students in studio visits and group critiques. The Roski School offers undergraduate studio courses in an array of media, including painting, drawing, photography, design, video and digital media, sculpture, ceramics, and printmaking, along with classroom-based courses in the critical study of art. From these, students assemble their own unique, individualized courses of study according to their interests. Progressive, interdisciplinary approaches are highly encouraged.
