Kyoto University of Art and Design (KUAD)

Kyoto University of the Arts (Kyoto University of the Arts) is a private university in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto, Japan. It was chartered as a junior college in 1977 and became a four-year college in 1991.

Their mission statement reads, “We believe that the revival of the arts is, if nothing else, a movement that will nurture a future generation to launch a new renaissance, which is perhaps the most important mission for our entire institution.”
