Active from 1996 to 2002, Global Vernunft was an office for intellectual initiatives on the interface between the theory and practice of visual art. In addition to these projects, Global Vernunft was responsible for setting up and editing the annual publication of the Dutch Society of Aesthetics, the internationally distributed L&B (Lier en Boog), Series of Philosophy of Art and Art Theory. That publications brought to life the practice of current visual art through artists, curators, architects, filmmakers and new media professionals as an intensification of the theoretical domain of philosophers and art theorists.
