Vandalorum Museum of Art and Design

Amidst the fields on the outskirts of Värnamo you will find Vandalorum, a museum presenting the most influential art and design today. Vandalorum’s unique buildings, reminiscent of the monumental drying barn that once stood on this site, are constructed based on an original concept by the awardwinning Italian architect Renzo Piano.

Exhibitions
We constantly present new exhibitions featuring prominent contemporary designers and artists, both Swedish and international. One of the barns is home to Småland Art Archive, which primarily exhibits artists with connections to Småland.

Oudolf’s Garden
Piet Oudolf’s garden at Vandalorum is his first at a Nordic cultural institution and includes, among other things, a 3,500 m² perennial garden. Oudolf is one of the world’s foremost garden designers and creates gardens that appeal in all seasons.

Studio
At Vandalorum we encourage exploration, learning and creativity! In the Form Studio, there is always an open workshop connected to the exhibitions.
