The Boghossian Foundation - Villa Empain is a centre for art and dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures. Created in 1992 by Robert Boghossian and his two sons Jean and Albert, jewellers of Armenian origin, the Boghossian Foundation carries out humanitarian work in Armenia and Lebanon. Since 2010, the Foundation’s humanist values have been reflected in the artistic programme at the Villa Empain, a masterpiece of Art Deco architecture and a key cultural centre on the Belgian art scene. Nearly 800,000 visitors have been welcomed since its opening.
