Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design at University of Dundee has a rich and creative history spanning over 130 years.
Number 1 in Scotland for art and design (Complete University Guide 2021), DJCAD is the creative heart of the University of Dundee. Offering both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, DJCAD covers a range of artistic disciplines and encourages creative work across multiple media and genres.
Spacious studios, twelve workshops, galleries, pottery wheels, 3D printers, industrial knitting machines, digital labs, green screens, a foundry, milling machines, wood turners, lithography tools, darkrooms, laser cutters, a fully stocked art store, and a library that’s home to over 60,000 books make up the incredible array of facilities at DJCAD.
All teaching staff are closely connected to their respective industries, working with top companies across the globe, such as Microsoft and Deusche Telekom. They are active practitioners within their field, exhibiting their work individually or within national and international collections in many of the world’s leading museums and galleries, including the Victoria & Albert Museum, Tate, and the Museum of Modern Art.
