The Museum of Art of the National University of Colombia, as a laboratory for creation and experimentation for the production of knowledge from art, works in the commissioning and production of contemporary art exhibitions from a transdisciplinary perspective, proposing art and thought as fundamental forms of social transformation in the commons.
Under the direction of María Belén Sáez de Ibarra since 2008, this public program is dedicated to producing large-scale experimental projects, involving collaborative teams in long-term research, such as Selva Cosmopolítica (Cosmopolitical Forest), which brings together the arts, heritage, and work with communities in their territories.
