Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art is one of the most important museums of contemporary art in Italy. The museum’s permanent collection documents the development of contemporary art in Italy and abroad from the 1950s to the present day. Amongst others, the website provides information on conferences and courses organised by the museum and gives account of its new acquisitions. The Castello di Rivoli’s permanent collection was established in 1984, the year the museum opened, and it is continually added to and enriched through new acquisitions, donations, and long-term loans which document crucial moments in the development of contemporary art in Italy and abroad from the 1950s to the present day. Since 2019 it has managed the Cerruti Collection which includes European art from the Middle Ages to the contemporary.
