About the Austrian Society for Architecture
The Austrian Society for Architecture (Österreichische Gesellschaft für Architektur) was founded in Vienna in 1965 as a critical platform fostering debate on architecture and urban planning. The non-profit organization’s events explore the built environment as cultural phenomenon. Visits to recently completed projects give participants a chance to experience contemporary architecture and to interact with design professionals. The Austrian Society for Architecture cultivates interdisciplinary exchange and actively seeks to engage with all persons involved in the matters at hand. With very few exceptions, these events require no registration and are free of charge.
