Aaran Gallery

Since its inception in 2008, Aaran Gallery has organized exceptional exhibitions both in Iran and internationally. The gallery is dedicated to nurturing and promoting some of Iran’s most progressive emerging artists, aged between 25 and 40. Its mission is to present the true essence of Iranian contemporary art, highlighting its tensions and messages. Aaran Gallery operates from two floors in its first space on Karimkhan Ave.

In 2015, the gallery expanded with the opening of Aaran Projects, located in the heart of mid-town Tehran’s cultural district, which is home to two of the city’s main theatres. This second space occupies a building designed by an Armenian architect in the 1930s, situated in a small, unique alley that forms the third part of a pair of twin houses.
