Angel Art

Dan Colen, TBT , 2012. M & M’s on paper, 82 x 60 inches, framed.

Angel Art was a silent and live art auction benefiting Project Angel Food, a nonprofit dedicated to providing meals to those with life-threatening illnesses. Held on April 23, 2013, at the Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles, the event featured works by renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, Mark Bradford, and Ed Ruscha. The auction raised crucial funds for Project Angel Food’s meal delivery program, with all proceeds going directly to support the organization’s efforts. In addition to artworks, a special “art enthused trip” was auctioned, offering a unique experience in Amsterdam. The event has made a lasting impact, generating funds for nearly one million meals over its nine-year history.
