ArtRio

ArtRio is a prominent international contemporary art fair held annually in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Established in 2011, it has become a significant event in the Latin American art scene, attracting galleries, collectors, critics, and curators from around the world.

The fair is organized by BEX, a cultural production company specializing in visual arts. Founded in 2009 by Brenda Valansi and Elisangela Valadares, BEX aims to promote the production, dissemination, and distribution of Brazilian art both domestically and internationally. In 2011, entrepreneurs Alexandre Accioly and Luiz Calainho joined the organization, bringing new ideas and projects to the endeavor.
