The Buchmann Galerie represents international emerging and established artists with a focus on sculpture and painting.
André Buchmann founded the Buchmann Galerie in 1995 in Cologne. Since 2005 the gallery has been located in Berlin where it has two centrally located exhibition spaces for separate or parallel exhibitions between Checkpoint Charlie and Gropius Bau. André Buchmann has been a member of the board of the Cragg Foundation since 2008 and the gallery represents the Tony Cragg Drawing Archive besides representing him as a sculptor.
For all of its artists, Buchmann Galerie is a leading or the exclusive representative gallery in Germany. The gallery has published and supported numerous gallery and museum catalogues, i.e. on Lawrence Carroll, Nigel Cooke, Martin Disler, Fiona Rae, Bettina Pousttchi and William Tucker, as well as the five-volume survey catalogue covering Tony Cragg’s oeuvre.
