University of Wales Trinity Saint David is the newest in Wales, yet it’s roots stretch back to the creation of the founding institutions in 1822 and 1848. The new university has already secured a multimillion poind government investment which will be reinvested to provide an environment befitting twenty-first century learning, teaching, research and scholarships. Amongst these major developments, students remain at the heart of the university. The campuses at Carmarthen and Lampeter offer a beautiful and enriching environment with everything on one site. The Lampeter Campus is immediately adjacent to the town of Lampeter. The campus is based around the original St David’s College founded in 1822. The town of Lampeter is a lively, historic market townset at the foothills of the Cambrian mountains in the county of Ceredigion.
