The Colleges offer the University’s 20,000 students a diverse range of courses at all levels from foundation and undergraduate to postgraduate and research. The University’s 1,228 teaching staff, as active professional artists, practitioners, designers, critics and theorists, lead the way on creative and experimental practice alongside historical and theoretical analysis. Our vision is to be an international centre of excellence, promoting effective learning in the Arts and supporting the University of the Arts London community by developing teaching, elearning and pedagogic research. The Centre will take a leading role in developing and delivering University of the Arts London’s Learning and Teaching Strategy and make a significant contribution to providing high quality support to staff who teach and support learning that is appropriate and responsive to their needs, quality enhancement within University of the Arts London, and constructing and sustaining communities of practice, built on and extending scholarly and empirical understandings of pedagogy and learning.
