Housed within one of the most respected research universities in the United States, the College of Fine Arts (CFA) at Carnegie Mellon University forges new paths in the arts, architecture, and design through critical discourse, interdisciplinary study, and cutting-edge technology. CFA is comprised of the Schools of Architecture, Art, Design, Drama, and Music. In addition, CFA houses the Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry, CMU’s laboratory for research at the intersections of arts, science, technology, and culture, as well as the Miller Institute for Contemporary Art.
