Contemporary arts TV
January 25, 2017
JACK is the first web television platform dedicated to the contemporary arts and its protagonists that overcomes the physical and geographical confines of a museum to bring together numerous international centres of excellence in cultural experimentation and production. With exclusive contents, a constantly updated schedule of live streaming broadcasts, space for users’ comments and contributions from art bloggers, JACK intends to excite, provide food for thought and describe reality with new eyes.
From Rome to Amsterdam, from Istanbul to Lisbon, JACK unites multiple and diverse experiences and points of view to recount the universal energy of art to all those ready to allow themselves to be transported by the power of creativity and to be inspired.
Conceived and promoted by MAXXI and realised thanks to a technological partnership with Engineering, JACK can already count on the participation of 14 institutions: Centro per l’Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci (Prato), EMST National Museum of Contemporary Art (Athens), FOAM Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam, Fondazione Romaeuropa, Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (Rome), La Triennale di Milano, MADRE Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Donnaregina (Naples), MAK – Austrian Museum of Applied Arts / Contemporary Art (Vienna), Museion (Bolzano), Museum of Architecture (Wroclaw), Museum of Modern Art in Istanbul, Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea (Cinisello Balsamo – Milan), Trienal de Arquitectura de Lisboa.
JACK will surprise us every day.
See you there!
