Master’s degree in Curating Studies from the Museo Universidad de Navarra (MUN): March 17 is the deadline to submit your application for this official master’s degree that will train you to dedicate yourself to curatorship in a unique environment, with a practical methodology applied from the beginning, and an integrated curriculum that will prepare you from all the necessary perspectives to acquire a complete profile, guided by art professionals.

This master’s degree allows you to “learn by doing”, as it is taught in a museum (MUN). Thus, our students are trained immersed in the daily practice of a creation center, learning their activity first-hand. In addition, you will have the opportunity to see the curatorial proposal of your master’s thesis (TFM) brought to reality, exhibited in the galleries of the Museo Universidad de Navarra itself.

Throughout this process, you will be guided by important names in the art sector: the classes are taught by museum directors (Tania Pardo, CA2M; Pablo Berástegui, La Casa Encendida; Carlos Urroz, Director of the Institutional Cabinet at the Reina Sofía Museum; Sergio Rubira, Artistic Director of TEA. Tenerife Espacio de las Artes; Gabriel Pérez Barreriro, artistic director of  MUN), artist (Daniel Canogar), curators (Gloria Mouré, Eneas Bernal, Gerardo Mosquera)…

The curriculum of the MUN master’s degree in Curating Studies will train you from the intellectual, creative and managing levels, to achieve a complete profile that meets today’s requirements for an art curator: capable of understanding audiences and relating to artists, carrying out institutional tasks… all this, through the acquisition of skills through an integrated curriculum.

In addition, it is completed with visits to important art spaces and museums in other cities across Spain and Europe.

Program highlights:
–Integration of scholarly research with professional training and practice
–Learning inside an art museum
–National and regional field excursions and international study trip
–Internship opportunities
–Scholarship offer
