Master of Fine Arts

Art History
Our Department of Art History offers dynamic and broad-based degree programs—all with an interdisciplinary and global perspective—that will equip you with the skills needed for a wide range of careers in academia and arts management in a world where visual literacy is vitally important. Art Education
Practicing artists who want to complement their portfolios with teaching credentials have a perfect option in Tyler’s Master of Education in Art Education. You’ll develop an understanding of a broad range of art learners at the K-12 level, build your repertoire of teaching strategies, and study along with education students pursuing complementary goals—with an emphasis on research and studio practice. Architecture and Environmental Design
As a graduate student in our Architecture and Environmental Design programs, you’ll learn together with peers in every discipline in hands-on design studios and collaborative workshops, studying opportunities and challenges that face society now and in the future.
