ACC CREATORS Residency is an interdisciplinary platform for experimental projects by future-oriented practitioners combining artistic creativity and technology. Since 2015, ACC has been supporting creators from around the world who use technology in innovative ways to expand the boundaries of creative expression.
This year’s residency program, themed “AI / Human / Multiverse,” explores the present and the approaching future from various perspectives through the projects of eight teams of creators, selected through an international open call in June. These projects delve into the complex network of relationships between humans and non-humans, as well as art and technology.
Since August, participants have been refining their project concepts and research methods through the residency program, which includes orientation, tours, thematic and technical workshops, expert matching, research, and production, all based on ACC’s creative production infrastructure, ACT Studio.
The mid-stage results of these projects will be introduced to the public and relevant experts at the ‘Creators Talk,’ held in conjunction with ACC’s interdisciplinary arts festival based on art and technology, ‘ACT (Arts & Creative Technology) Festival 2024’ on September 28.
The final outcomes will be presented in an Open Studio and Showcase from November 22 to 24 at the Complex Studio. This event will feature project showcases, performances, workshops, and talks with major international art and technology institutions.

HKASON
Centered on the materiality and performativity of the skin that covers the human body and the clothes worn on top of it, HKASON has been embodying in the form of theater the multilayered relationship that extends to human body, objects, and space.
