Artecinema
October 16–20, 2024
The 29th Artecinema Festival will be inaugurated on Wednesday October 16, 2024 at the San Carlo Theatre in Naples and will continue from October 17 to 20 at the Augusteo Theatre.
Every year, Artecinema features a selection of newly produced documentaries that delve into the biographies and poetics of major artists, architects, and photographers on the international scene.
Five days of filmography devoted to contemporary art, photography, architecture which delves into aspects related to the all-too-often little-known creative genesis: through the documentaries, viewers are able to enter into the artists’ studios, and observe and better appreciate the creative process of the works, the materials used, and the themes addressed.
Films from different countries around the world will be presented, many of them world, European or Italian premieres, divided into sections: Art and Environs, Architecture and Design, Photography.
