One-year certificate program
Priority application deadline: October 20, 2024
Applications for ICP’s fully digital One-Year Certificate Program, Documentary Practice: Visual Storytelling Online, are now open. Beginning in January 2025, this program is now offered at a more accessible price and designed to be completed on a part-time schedule over the course of one calendar year. The priority deadline to apply is October 20, 2024.
This program is designed for photographers committed to long-term projects and eager to engage in collaborative learning with a global cohort. By the end of this program, participants will have developed their unique visual voice and completed a substantial documentary project. Participants will gain a deep understanding of developing and constructing a visual narrative, enriched by dialogue with a global community of photographers. Students are encouraged to explore both local and global perspectives in their storytelling.
Classes are conducted live on weekday mornings (between 9am–1pm Eastern Standard Time) for approximately 8–10 hours per week. Sessions are held on Zoom, typically lasting two to three hours each.
The new pricing structure for this fully remote online program makes Visual Storytelling Online even more accessible to photographers living and working within their communities around the world. Learn more by enrolling in this week’s upcoming info session or visiting our website for details.
