Let’s meet in Vancouver! Hot off the press, e-flux Index #2 will debut at Vancouver Art Book Fair this weekend.

Published five times a year, e-flux Index recomposes content commissioned across e-flux’s Journal, Architecture, Criticism, Education, and Notes platforms, organizing texts thematically to draw out today’s most vital strains of inquiry. Index #2 features e-flux’s February–March 2024 editorial breadth, encompassing contributions from 74 authors, artists, architects, filmmakers, and educators.

Free and open to the public, Vancouver Art Book Fair is a multi-day celebration of artists’ publishing featuring over one hundred local, national and international publishers, as well as a diverse line-up of programs, performances and artists’ projects. Featured exhibitors produce everything from books, magazines, zines and printed ephemera to digital, performative or other experimental forms of publication. The fair runs July 26, 11am–9pm, and July 27, 10am–6pm, at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre. On July 28, Emily Carr University of Art + Design hosts the Vancouver Art Book Fair Symposium, from 10am–5pm.

e-flux Index #2, alongside a range of recent e-flux titles, will be available for perusal and purchase at e-flux’s table at the fair. On Sunday the 28, e-flux editors Brian Kuan Wood, Hallie Ayres, and Anton Vidokle will participate in the symposium, delivering a talk on e-flux’s publishing practice.

We look forward to discussing Index together in Canada!
