Our teaching staff are experienced industry experts, with insight and knowledge to not only guide you through your degree but are also on hand to support you in the next stages of your career. In fact, we’ve helped to shape the careers of some of the finest artists and designers across the globe, with graduates having gone on to work in galleries, studios, and creative spaces worldwide.
To namedrop a few;
Sandra Junele graduated with from Textile Design in 2022, and has since gone on to become an award-winning textile artist. Sandra takes pride in creating unique and sustainable wall panel installations and custom-moulded shapes using shredded recycled textile waste mixed with handmade plant-based glue.
Tara Mansell is an award-winning jeweller, having graduated with a degree in Jewellery & Metal Design from DJCAD in 2020. She has enjoyed fantastic success with her business Tara Lois Jewellery and recently hosted the Mediterranean Muse exhibition at Munich Jewellery Week.
Emily Ashby is a 2006 graduate of Interactive Media Design (now Digital Interaction Design) and has worked with the likes of Coca Cola, Arsenal Football Club, RBS, Ministry of Justice, NHS and GiffGaff. Emily’s work enables organisations to focus on becoming more customer-centric.

Master’s degree show
DJCAD is annually transformed into a working art space, allowing students to exhibit work for the highly anticipated Degree Show. With VIP-invited guests, industry experts, as well as friends and family on the scene, the show is the perfect place to network and promote your work.

Inspiration at every corner in Dundee, Scotland
As a UNESCO City of Design, Dundee is quickly transforming into one of the UK’s “coolest little cities” with the opening of the UK’s second V&A Museum- Scotland’s first ever design museum to showcase exhibitions spanning various disciplines, including contemporary art, fashion, and architecture. The city of Dundee itself serves as a vibrant canvas, with its stunning waterfront and historic/contemporary architecture. Needless to say, inspiration is endless in Dundee.
Cooper Gallery
Not many art schools can boast a fully functioning gallery exhibition space attached to its building. Cooper Gallery is a public art gallery at the heart of DJCAD, with an annual programme of exhibitions and events by national and international artists, designers and cultural practitioners.
