Museo Tamayo closes the year 2015 with three major solo exhibitions of Leon Golub, Heinz Peter Knes and Nairy Baghramian.
Leon Golub: Bite Your Tongue is the first survey exhibition by the American figurative painter to be held in Mexico; it highlights key aspects of Golub’s oeuvre from the 1950s until his death in 2004. This exhibition is organized in collaboration with Serpentine Galleries, London. Heinz Peter Knes. intimation allover surveys the German photographer´s work from the beginning of his career in the late 1990s to the present. Nairy Baghramian. Hand Me Down comprises the most recent sculptural works of Berlin-based artist, for which the architecture of the Museo Tamayo acts as both host and foil.
For the spring of 2016, Museo Tamayo will present new exhibitions by Mexican artist Mario García Torres and Argentinean artist Eduardo Navarro, as well as a major survey of Isamu Noguchi’s designs for playgrounds and play sculptures, spanning half a century, from the early 1930s to the late 1980s.

Founded in 1981, the Museo Tamayo produces unique exhibitions of the most representative aspects of the international contemporary art scene. In addition, it exhibits its modern and contemporary art collections as well as the oeuvre of its founder, the artist Rufino Tamayo.
