Application deadline: September 17, 2023
The second open call for Bauhaus Earth fellowships is now open, offering the opportunity to contribute to the development of a powerful aesthetic for a sustainable architecture of the future.
The Bauhaus Earth Fellowship Program (BE-FELLOW) welcomes all emerging international practitioners in architecture, design, engineering, and the arts with proposals for experimental projects that generate new knowledge about regional, bio-based, and circular construction. Projects supported by the Fellowship Program aim to produce architectural artefacts of a manageable scale that provide tangible and measurable demonstrations of new ways of building. They should aim for longevity and be integrated into a real-world, social context.
BE-FELLOW offers a unique collaborative research environment, enabling Fellows to develop and implement their projects with the BE-FELLOW team and project-specific partners. The program is designed to encourage open and interdisciplinary collaboration, providing a platform for Fellows to explore ideas and bring them to life.
BE-FELLOW is a collaboration between Bauhaus Earth and Experimental. Based in Berlin and Brandenburg, it complements the practice-oriented LAB and global think tank of Bauhaus Earth.
Fellowship projects are open-ended and can last from 3 to 12 months, starting in early 2024. Applications are now open until September 17, 2023. For more information about the program and how to apply, visit the BE-FELLOW site and submit your proposal now!
