The fall 2023 lecture series at CU Denver College of Architecture and Planning explores the materials, forms, audiences, and agencies that shape history, speculation, and applied practice. The series brings together historians, designers, architects, landscape architects, urban designers, and urban planners. Together, they provide a cross-section of creative expression in the built environment, resisting the normative limits of the fields that they represent by working with alternative publics, ecologies, and visual means. All events are free, open to the public, and will be recorded unless otherwise specified. Most lectures will be held on the Second Floor Gallery of CU Building, 1250 14th St, Denver.
