After an exceptional edition at La Pedrera-Casa Milà, LOOP Fair is back to its original hotel format at the Almanac Barcelona. Offering an overview of the latest contributions to moving image creation, the selection will feature the participation of 43 videos presented by a roster of international artists and galleries.

The selection is the result of the invaluable work of our specialized committee of collectors, chaired by Jean-Conrad Lemaître and composed by Isabelle Lemaître, Haro Cumbusyan Josée and Marc Gensollen, Renée Drake. Including films, animations or VR videos exploring a variety of topics, LOOP Fair will showcase multiple works, testifying to the ductility of video as a creative and critical tool.
Expanded in a hybrid format, the selection will also be accessible online. From November 15 to 27, all the videos will simultaneously be available for streaming on the LOOP Virtual platform, offering the audience an immersive experience.
To accompany the Fair, also an intense two-day programme of talks around the practices and ethics of collecting featuring the participation of Elvira Dyangani Ose (Director, MACBA. Barcelona), Salma Tuqan (Deputy Director, Delfina Foundation, London), Gala Porras-Kim (artist), Sandra Terdjman (Co-founder of Council and AFIELD Fellowship, Paris), Haro Cumbusyan (founder, collectorspace), Piergiorgio Pepe (Collector, Athens), Evrim Oralkan (Director, Collecteurs, New York), Diego Bergamaschi (Co-founder, Seven Gravity Collection), Joseph Del Pesco (International Director, KADIST, San Franscisco), Sylvia Kouvali (Founding director, RODEO, London / Piraeus), among others.
Simultaneously the LOOP Festival’s programme, will present a series of exhibitions, performances and screenings exploring the notion of “Time” and featuring the participation of local and international artists exhibited in and outside Barcelona.
