A special appreciation to the community of visiting artists, designers, and scholars, who provided invaluable contributions to the education of our graduate students this year!
The Graduate Studies faculty, students, and staff at the Maryland Institute College of Art would like to extend a very special thank you to more than 300 visiting artists, scholars, and special guests who joined us in our community this year to share their expertise. Our community of MA & MFA programs is a permeable one, strengthened and nourished by the relationships that connect MICA to the rest of Baltimore and the world; we appreciated the opportunity to engage with such a diverse array of thought leaders and makers, as we consider together what it means to forge purposeful and creative lives and careers in these uncertain times. While space here does not permit us to name every individual who joined us, we offer the following list as representative of all those to whom we wish to express our gratitude.
Dome Collective, Kyle Hackett, Marisela B. Gomez, David Fakunle, Ami Kantawala, Shreyas R. Krishnan, Na Kim, Dagmawi Woubshet, Maria Elena Gonzales, James Haywood Rolling, Jr., Coco Fusco, Kristen Hileman, Jason Stopa, Zoë Charlton, Naeeme Mohammadi, Ashley Minner, Andrea Dietz, Manuel Canales, Charles Mason III, Vivek Thakker, Sreshta Rit Premnath, Cecile Chong, Gabriel C.Amadi-Emina, Mustafa Hussain Shabbir, Thomas Hartung, Danni Shen.
