September 8–October 9, 2022
Various Others is the international format of the Munich art scene. Its most ambitious players—galleries, artist-run spaces, and institutions—invite all art enthusiasts to get to know the city’s most important venues in all their diversity. Through our partnership concept we strive to strengthen international exchange and create opportunities for dialogue and stimulating encounters. In collaboration with participating galleries from all over the world, Various Others offers contemporary art of the highest quality and relevance.
With its kick-off weekend taking place September 8–11, 2022, Various Others heralds the start of the fall art season. We invite guests to experience our jam-packed program of exhibitions and events. This year, local galleries and artist-run spaces have invited 20 guest institutions from 12 countries—including Ukraine, Georgia, Greece, the United States, and Mexico. In 2022, Various Others opens with the highly anticipated presentation of Joan Jonas at Haus der Kunst, followed by 27 exhibition openings, numerous artist talks, guided tours, concerts, and parties all across the city. Visit the website for the continuously growing program.
Various Others is a unique format hosted by the association VFAMK. We thank our partners and all of the supporting members of the association who make this project possible as well as the active members for their unflagging efforts and dedication.
