Dear friends,
The shape of our world is in drastic flux, a condition that will only advance throughout the summer’s long days and hot nights. It is as pressing as ever to find new methodologies and frameworks for thinking together. In that vein, we’d like to hear your proposals for new e-flux journal readers—thematic online collections of essays from the journal’s 12-year archive that relate to the present.
The journal’s 129 issues and nearly 1,500 essays are available online and can be grouped in infinite patterns. Feel free to explore the themes and ideas presented in existing readers here.
Which strains of discourse feel especially vital today? What categories of cultural theory have provided you tools for understanding this moment? What topics have you been discussing with friends and foes? We’d love to know.
Your suggested reader should include a one-word title, a short abstract (100 words), and links to 8-9 e-flux journal texts. Please send your suggestions to reader [at] e-flux.com by August 20, 2022. We will publish accepted readers on a rolling basis.
Looking forward to reading with you!
