The Moments of Cynicism and Piety: Collection Exhibition of Frank F. Yang Art & Education Foundation is curated by Mr. Sun Dongdong, an emerging and active curator in China. The exhibition will take place at You Space & Extra Space in Shenzhen, China, both of which are non-profit spaces supported by Frank F. Yang Art & Education Foundation. The exhibition The Moments of Cynicism and Piety brings in-depth and critical thinking and comments to international and social issues of capitalism, democracy and contemporary art itself. The exhibition includes over 40 works by Chinese artists Liu Wei, He Xiangyu, Lee Kit, international artists Map Office, Martin Par, Dahn Vo, Sterling Ruby, and more.

As well, Frank F. Yang Art & Education Foundation and You Space are announcing an open call for Micro Curatorial Project.
With Micro Curatorial Project, Frank F. Yang Art & Education Foundation will use You Space as an experimental and edgy playground to support the local and international contemporary art community. The foundation itself become a platform and incubator, and welcomes projects with imaginative and pioneering ideas from curators, artists and critics, regardless of the format of the art.

Frank F. Yang Art & Education Foundation will announce the result on or before May 20, evaluated by an international committee. The foundation will then execute two to three selected exhibition plans with full support, publication and promotion.
Frank F. Yang Art & Education Foundation
Frank F. Yang Art & Education Foundation was established by Mr. Frank F. Yang in 2015. It is devoted to the collection, education and research of contemporary abstract, conceptual and video art. The foundation is also devoted to promoting international art and cultural exchange especially in South China, and has supported and sponsored a series of exhibitions and publishing projects for non-profit spaces.
You Space
As a loft space with more than 500 square meters and located at Nanhai E-Cool, one of the most artistic and creative areas in Shekou, Shenzhen, You Space is a non-profit space supported by Frank F. Yang Art & Education Foundation and Youmi Finance, an internet finance company. It creates a unique art space to show pioneering and avant-garde contemporary art with exhibitions and seminars, as well as the possibility for commissioned artworks.
