Uniarts Helsinki’s Theatre and Dance Pedagogy MA programmes welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.
The master’s degree programmes in dance pedagogy and theatre pedagogy combine critical thinking, artistic-pedagogical practices and exploration of the wide range of meanings in the arts. Students reflect on and develop the practices and pedagogy of performing arts within an open, dialogue-oriented community. You will be provided support for critical, innovative thinking, multidisciplinary interaction, multiartistic collaborations and for adopting an experimental attitude. Upon graduation, you will be a versatile and inventive professional with extensive work opportunities in performing arts and art pedagogy.
The programmes are open to international applicants who have sufficient skills in English. We’ve updated our eligibility criteria to encourage applicants with even more diverse artistic, educational, social and cultural backgrounds.
