Art emerges as more essential than ever in this era of multiple global climate crises, pervasive racial and social injustice, political calamity, and a loss of a sense of community imposed on us by a traumatic pandemic.
MICA Grad Show 2022 will host select on-campus and community engagements and virtually showcase the culminating work of MFA and MA graduate students from 14 of the College’s internationally renowned programs.
The work of these artists, designers, filmmakers, educators, and curators demonstrates how art disrupts in the most benevolent sense, awakens us to the present moment, and contributes to our shared becoming, that we might imagine things otherwise and become more fully human.
Visit here for a schedule of exhibitions, film screenings, public programs, and student-curated installations throughout Baltimore City. At this time, campus galleries are open to the MICA community only due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. For invitation only events, tickets are required. Non-MICA guests must provide proof of vaccination or negative test results for admission.
