From May 1st to June 12, the third edition of the Manif dart, a biennial visual arts festival, international in scope, will take place in several sites in and around Quebec citys St-Roch district.

The Manif dart 3 main exhibition, the Collection Loto-Québec exhibition of emerging artists and the video program Espace Télé-Québec will be held at Façades de la Gare, 400 boulevard Jean-Lesage. (Downtown Québec in Mail St-Roch)
Cynicisms?, theme chosen by curator Patrice Loubier and co-curator André-Louis Paré, inspired a selection of 50 artists engaged in social and political reflection from Quebec, Canada, America and Europe.

Manif dart 3 boasts the unprecedented support of more than 30 collaborators: organizations, museums, institutions, and artist-run centres from Quebec City and the international scene. Representing a variety of artistic fields, the result is a program rich in collaborator exhibitions, satellite activities, conferences, a colloquium, workshops for youth, happy hours with artists, and evenings at the gallery Rouje (renamed Chez Diogène, cabaret cynique for the occasion).

The Manif dart provides a platform of international caliber to local artists and organizations while at the same time establishing an international network of dissemination and exchange. In a spirit of festivity and inclusiveness, the Manif dart invites a broad public to experience a wide array of stimulating expressions of contemporary art.
